Initiative Partners

Liberty Healthcare

Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Initiative

People on the Go Maryland is partnering with Liberty Healthcare on a five-year grant with the state of Maryland to support the data collection of the National Core Indicators data from individuals receiving disability services throughout the year. This data helps states determine the services (and the quality of those services) that are being delivered compared to other states. In our partnership with Liberty, People On the Go supports this effort by assisting with information dissemination, recruitment, technical support, and training. Please feel free to reach out to info@pogmd.org with any questions.

The Arc of Maryland

Empowering Partners Initiative

People On the Go Maryland partners with The Arc of Maryland to give “Train the Trainer” presentations. The objective is to train facilitators to go out and deliver presentations to strengthen other self-advocacy groups within the state of Maryland. People On the Go Public Policy Director and Director of Training co-facilitate these presentations to train on Living Your Ideal Life, State and Local Laws and Those Who Create Them, and Federal Laws and Advocacy in Action.
